For the last 20 minutes, I am hearing some sporadic sounds of semi-automatic weapons from my place in F-8. The shooting sound seem to be coming from close to PIMS area. Nothing on TV up to now.

There was another shooting spree and this time the sounds were coming from the 7th Avenue side. Nothing on the news though. Chand Maari or someone's baraat?

This was close to our office. However, the reason for firing sound at 2:00 am today could not be ascertained. There is no mention of this in any newspaper or a news channel. Anyone else in Islamabad has any info?
