I think your doctor will be the best source for this. In general, if you experience contractions or bleeding, that should be a cause for alarm and you should contact your doc ASAP so they can give something to halt the contractions if you are not near to term.

• Contractions or cramps, more than 5 in one hour
• Bright red blood from your vagina
• Pain during urination, possible urinary tract, bladder or kidney infection
• Sudden gush of clear, watery fluid from your vagina
• Low, dull backache
• Intense pelvic pressure
