Worried

Fill in the blank. A ______ a day keeps the doctor away!

They use to say apples - but I would have to say

A spoon full of honey everyday has really helped my kids build immunity against those raspy winter coughs.

What are some things that you give to your kiddos for help build immunity against coughs and colds in the upcoming winter days.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

^ What type of exercise for kids?

Do have some time set up for your kids to exercise after they get home from school?
Do you do exercise as a family?

Onion..

Raw, not a whole one, just a few slithers.. It's said to boost your immune system.

I remember a few years ago, I was always getting colds and chest infections and a friend suggested I eat more onions. So I always have onions in my sandwhiches for lunch at work and it has helped me loads. Gone from getting colds/coughs every few months to once or twice a year..

Well not a spoon but a multivitamin a day !

Lots of kids are introduced to junk food so early in life that they really do lack essential nutrients and iron and multivitamin supplements would help a long way !

That is not to say not to give a wellbalanced diet to your kid but how many kids drink sodas and eat junk every day !

Guns don't kill people ! Dads with pretty daughters Do !

I don't have anything "setup" for exercise for the family but I do encourage them. I am happy the days they do Wii fit.

A multivitamin a day keeps the doctor away.

I count on multivitamins to fill in the nutritional gaps my kids may have from not consuming their recommended daily requirements of fruits and vegetable and grains and proteins and carbs...I do try my best to prepare the most well balanced meals but they don't always finish.

I have seen that since they've been on multivitamins, even if they catch a cold or cough, they recover real fast and don't need a doc visit.

Niksik, which multivitamins do you use for your kids?
The gummy ones?

A teaspoonful of flaxseed (linseed) sprinkled on their food keeps the doctor away. It contains Omega3 for their immunity and fibre as well.

Please take care of childrens chewable or effervescent multivits. Read the ingredients as some of them contain aspartame. You will find alternates as most companies are moving away from aspartame. But just be aware.
