For those that have suffered sever constipation through pregnancy I feel for you.
Any tips on how to make things better?

i may sound like a salesrep for prune juice but its the best thing...
areu taking iron supplements? cuz they also induce constipation..

No I don't take iron supplement and noone should unless they are prescribed as too much iron can also be bad.
I will try prune juice, is cranberry juice allowed in pregnancy.

^ Yup I think you can have cranberry juice. That also helps avoid UTIs, which is important.
Prune juice, lots of fruits and veggies, yogurt, high fiber foods, etc. Hopefully you'll be fine. It is a real issue of if you develop hemorrhoids, which are also common in pregnancy. Just be careful about putting too much pressure.

Prune juice is wonderful. You can also take corn husk, also known as Psyllium, if the prune juice doesnt do the trick to get things moving along. Husk is natural and full of fiber and very safe to take in pregnancy. Try a product called "Benefiber". It worked wonders for my son.

from last two days i am feeling cramping and lower bach pain. (i have costipation) so i get worried and visit to the doctor she do an ultrasound and checked with her tools also and said that everything is ok . she said that may be your constipation is cause of pain in lower abdominal and she suggest me to take stool softener from over the counter. i bring that but now i ma confused should i take or not?? please anyone suggest that is it safe?

lots of vitamin C, prunes (again) lots of dilute which contains barely!
