When did you mommies start to feel your baby move?
I am AH 18 weeks, and its my first pregnancy and I still don't feel anything.I totally understand that it is nothing to worry about but am just curious how it went for others?

I noticed little things that I wasn't certain were movements around 14-15 weeks. By 16 weeks it was obvious I was feeling the baby. Now I can *see* her movements, since like 22 weeks, if I watch my stomach. mashAllah.

Can u feel any fluttering? Some ppl say it's like a feather is lightly being brushed just under your belly, very light at first, say 16 - 20 weeks or so.
It's different for everyone n depends on their size or thickness or whatever.
One must make a mark in this world, if I am remembered for anything, let it be cheese and crackers...

It's weird! Yesterday it felt like she had her head (something round and hard) wedged up in a corner and it was slightly protruding. And I was like OMG! And started cuddling it

Sahar,Mashallah that is amazing.
Wherever I read about it they say that women start to feel something between 16-20+ weeks and it differs for everyone. For some it feels like a feathery feeling or like popcorn popping or maybe even tummy gas.
If someone is a bit over weight they might not be able to feel it very early.
I am Mashallah 18 weeks today, and still waiting to feel anything.

I wouldn't worry if you don't feel movement very early on...mostly first time mums don't realise if it's a kick or not. I felt my first movements around 24 weeks....and sometimes if i'm very busy i don't notice anything.

sahar did it freak u out the first time u actually SAW the movement? i was in class and everyone stared at my belly (i had a HUGE belly)... the teacher stopped her lecture to look at what everyoen else was gaping at.. i only realized cuz everyone else was looking.. it was the most amazing thing.. after that.. everytime the baby would move.. i would stop, pull up my shirt and just stare

when it happens to u, even ure husband or ppl sitting close to u will be albe to see.. wait and watch sometimes the movements are quite shocking.. like when the baby moves its legs, or changes sides.. the protruding is quite big
my midwife explained it nicely but i have since forgotten.. somethign to do with thin stomach something something ..

lol - at all...
___
I was at an office meeting - with about 15 people in the room. It was so boring and I was falling sleepy.
All of a sudden, I felt tapping on my lower abs - then little faster... It was just for a few seconds - but first I got so SCARED. I was like oh my gosh there's something inside me tapping.
It was my first and I had some idea that the little ones do stretch, play, and have all sorts of activities in there. BUT I had no idea on tapping.
Soon I realized that oh my gosh it 's the little one - and the tiny feet totally made my day.
I had this smile on my face and the "meeting conductor" did point out - what's the glow on your face? I was like - ummmmmm - ? lol

Hehehe...how far along were you at that time NJMasti?
This morning when I woke up I lay in bed still and silent and was like c'mom move. But no body listened to me.
Again I know its very variable among women, but whats the harm in waiting anxiously!
