Bo-Bo is one handsome fella!
Ahmed, you should try brushing your cats with the 'love glove'---I try to give my kitties a rubdown with this every other day or so and it really helps to reduce shedding, especially in the fall and spring when they are shedding their old coats:

Aramis, you have a lot of mercy in your heart to care for these injured and sick animals. This is a really great quality and I believe there's a lot of sawab for people like you inshaallah. I understand not everyone likes pets but I wish everyone could at least appreciate how important mercy and kindness to all creatures is.

I'm absolutely petrified of animals.
My husband on the other hand loves them, especially cats. One of his aunts own this beautiful kitten and she has to shut her in a room whenever we are there because both my mil and I start freaking out.. hubby then brings the kitty out and coochie coos with her and tries to scare me more.
Choose your battles wisely.
Not everyone is worth wasting time over.

OMG....I have never seen a more handsome and gentlemanly rabbit!!! Absolutely adorable!
We have had a number of pets through our house.....mostly cats cuz I am a cat person and so is hubby. He claims not to be and feigns disgust at all the shedding etc, but when you listen to him playing with the animal you can tell that there is a secret love there..... LOL.
Right now we have a 1 year old Persian named Coco (that's short of Coco-Puff). I have yet to get a decent pic of him but will try to do that and post it.
Coco doesn't seem to have the normal personality of a Persian.....he's more like a dog. Very playful and very curious with anyone that comes around. And yes......he plays fetch with his favorite toys.
Every night when we are done with the dinner dishes and ready to go up to bed my daughter will gather the toys she's been playing with and head up the stairs. Coco has gotten into a similar habit. Even if he hasn't been playing with anything he will find a toy, pick it up in his mouth and bring it upstairs.
The fight to sleep next to me is still going on between the child and the cat. The child usually wins.

^ lol at the fight! we keep the door shut at night, otherwise the cats like to play "herd of rampaging buffalo across the plains of africa" on our bed at 3 am. its not fun being woken up like that!

omg, thats so funny!!
our kitty used to climb the draperies in our bedroom. Then walk across the top right up near the ceiling. When he got tired of surverying the scene from on high, he'd take a flying leap onto our bed!

^ yikes! daring kitty!
We had Coco neutered and declawed when he was 5 or six months old so he's not climbing draperies and scratching up the furniture anymore. He was actually doing pretty well but he hates to be brushed and with his long, long fur it was impossible to keep him matt free without needing first aid for yourself.....so the declawing was imperative. Now it's so much fun to play "pretend mouse" under the blanket cuz when he tries to grab you don't get hurt. And we don't have to reprimand him for scratching either......

you declawed him??? i'm sad :*(
muzna, why didn't you guys just trim his nails or get him a scratching post?
you know declawing him means removing the last joint of his toes, right? its basically mutilation... its probably also why he's so gentle now - it messes with cats' heads too since not having claws and not scratching is the opposite of their instinctive behaviour and they kind of go loopy once that is removed entirely.
sorry, i'm not picking a fight- i'm just really anti-declawing in cats and i'm wondering why you would choose something so extreme....?
