I have made quite a few trips to Pakistan over the last decade and have thoroughly enjoyed going to each corner. I have never uploaded my photos here but as of today I will do Insha Allah!

Here are some photos of Agricultural lands in the Attock district, N W Punjab.

Mazar-I-Quaid, Karachi

Avari Towers, Karachi

Pearl Continental, Karachi

St Patricks Cathedral, Karachi

I think this is Karachi museum or a home of Jinnah

I think this is a room Jinnah used to study in

Just lost my reply. Tried uploading some photos but I had to re-log in and lost the reply.

How does one stop that?

Thank for your comments much appreciated. Janu Jia - most farms within pakistan look like this - if you are a landlord then your farms would be much bigger and all yours!

This is a road just in Balochistan that leads to Quetta and Gwadar. Its in Las Bela

Hingol National Park - did not stop here just pased through but saw 3 Ibex on a cliff!

Mekrani Child - notice the Afro features

House damaged by flood in Summer 2007

Kech River a tributary of the Dasht River from Iran - the bridge is also damaged because of the summer 2007 floods

Scenes from Turbat

Punnu Fort is an ancient fort built by Prince Punnu of the Sassi and Punnu romance popular in Sindh and mekran

Views from Punnu Fort

I got a surprise to find this pond and marsh in the barren area. I managed to see at least 5 Moorhen here, a fan tailed warbler, a snipe and another wader species. Hareem you should know what Moorhen are

This Praying Mantis was quite big. They said it was poisonuous

Koh-I-Murad is a mountain shrine where members of the Zikri sect congregate on the 27th of Ramadan and perform their pilgrimage. Religious fundamentalists, who all belong outside of Mekran want to ban them from congregating. Most Baloch have no issue with them so so far they remain protected.
The gate leads to the small mountain or mound.

To read more about my travel and information about the people and places do read my blog and if you can please leave a comment. I also have a flickr page - I wont upload all my photos here. I can PM it to anyone interested in viewing it.
