Lol nothing is fake. You know the zari in the picture? The 'dome' thing which is above the grave? The actual one for Imam Hussain is in Karbala. It's awesome to see these zari's though lol. Here in Chicago it's all who's providing food and masjid politics instead of building something like these zaris.

mulana taqi usmani has written in a book "Jahan Deeda" that hazrat hussain (RA) shrine in egypt is most probably fake. wallah alim
what about the one in Syria.
If time is not real, then the dividing line between this world and eternity, between suffering and bliss, between good and evil, is also an illusion.

Yeah I believe that. The body of Imam Hussain (as) and baaqi shuhada are in Karbala buried with him. Most of the heads are in Ganj-e-Shaheedan in Syria I believe whereas the head of Imam Hussain (as) was sent to Egypt.
It's pretty nice to see others than Shia's posting pictures like this lol. JazaakAllah

Yeah I've read many stories about it that after the head was cut off, it was sent to Syria and was put on display at two places, Halab and another area there. After Yazid passed away the head was sent to Egypt.

i m sorry to say but ur info is not true (i wonder what made u think so). please read the book i have refered above. during his visits in every muslim country he went to offer fatiha on the shrines of sahaba, fuqaha and scholars and given the brief profile of those personalties whose shrines he visited. even this the most distinguishing feature of the book.

Kind of. After he whole Karbala scene, the ladies and children that came along were taken as prisoners for around a year or 2 I believe. They were taken to Kufa and Syria and then to Karbala and were then finally released. When they were in Syria, it is said that the head was placed on two areas where Yazid would poke it with a stick.
I'm not actually sure about that, back then Egypt was also part of the region and I believe Yazid or somebody else was the governor of Egypt so it was sent there.
