Hello All,

I'm writing this because some of the religious people, who believe in God, and don't accept "theory of Evolution", often find incomprehensible that why atheists are not accepting the obvious( from their perspective).

Discussions about God's existence often turn into a debate of proving and rejecting theory of evolution, Its true that scientific circles had accepted theory of evolution, Even in the fields of Psychology, alot of work had been done with the name "Evolutionary Psychology". In the field of Artificial intelligence Evolutionary Algorithms had worked good, few years back when i was more in touch with this topic, i even found out that an evolutionary program on its own had discovered some serious stuff, some of it was PHD level research, which could take a researcher years to do.

But my point here is that to prove or disprove God's existence you don't have to discuss theory of evolution, Even if its wrong (which is obviously not right), the existence of God doesn't automatically gets proved, you have to show this separately, with arguments offcourse, since its a separate epistemological claim.

Now why this happens that people starting to discuss theory of evolution, answer lies in the point that when people try to imagine the possible answers to the question of God's existence than what comes to mind is that either there is a God or Not. Now if there is No God than how this world is out there? they see only one answer to this question i.e. This world have been evolved.

Now its true that for now we only think in-terms of these two possibilities, but there were atheists before the theory of evolution even proposed, Why they rejected God?

Answer is simple lack of arguments in-favor of this proposition, so here i'm back at the point that i want to make i.e. to prove God you have to provide arguments and supporting evidence for that.

Hope i had cleared myself, and not offended anybody, since its totally academic. Just recently i have seen another topic "A Question about God", go through the same routine drill.

regards

A question reveals alot, while asking something.
The most significant thing a question reveals is itself.
