Humans will do what humans do best: Adapt.
When you talk bad about someone behind their back, things that are not true, thats called slander and you're definitely going to hell for that. But when you talk bad about someone behind their back, things that are true, thats called backbiting (gheebat). And you're going to hell for that too.

Not humans but cockroaches. That's a very very mean species, the best in adaptation.

If its average of 12 years of age before human hits puberty, means he/she would have only 8 years to mate and reproduce vs technically about 30-35 years available to us to mate an reproduce as of now.
is that period of 8 years good enough to reproduce so many humans for us to survive for that long.
2. Would we be striving to develop ourselves, go to schools and educate and then be ready to financially support our life.
Right now, it takes about 18 years of education (considering that we start learning at age of 5), means we hit 22-23 before we become a professional. If you have 20 years to live, I doubt if humans would be spending that amount of time to educate themselves.
3. Education would not be existing at the level anyways cause no one would have discovered, invented, theorized or researched upon anything. It takes an individual, years and years to ponder upon the mysteries of universe and the world around us to come up with any valuable conclusion. Those Sciences would not be in existence for anyone to go to school and learn them
What would be our life style then? You think we would still be living in modern cities with all the technologies around us or would be living in caves, just taking care of our basic needs of shelter, food and sex?

I believe in Evolution. So taking that into account, if the human life span was only 20 years, then the human brain and physical characteristics would evolve to cope with this shortened span. i.e., the average human would have a very hi IQ, and it would be logical to assume that our infants would be able to talk at a few months age, develop fully functional brains within a few years of life, and live normal adult lives by 10. Society would be different, but it would have to be dependent on how evolution breeds for necessity and for the right circumstances.

TLK...........just ask a 19 year old this question!
see what they say..................
For life and death are one, and only those who will consider the experience as one may come to understand or comprehend what peace indeed means.

Humans on the other hand we are assuming will still be giving birth to small human beings. Complete with everything needed for survival

So as Cheegum said, humans will adapt ..

You mean they will not mate, or they will just not tie the knot?

I think most of the people are saying the same stuff Dr. Lul ... and I kind of agree with all that our growth pattern, our biological needs and capabilties and social setup will adjust itself to compliment the 20 yrs life span
