Wasn't he (Abdul Qadir Gilani) married back in Feb/March and I remember it was in Khi...?

Plus PM house is larger and more exotic than the pres house, so PM would probably hold his functions there...

THE Muslim wedding of a seven-year-old boy and a five-year-old girl has been raided by police.

Cops arrested the Muslim cleric conducting the sick ceremony and the children’s parents in Pakistan’s largest city.
The cleric had not yet begun the ceremony of Mohammad Waseem, seven, and his bride Nishain Karachi, five – which was attended by 100 guests.
Pakistan law forbids marriage below the age of 18 – but some Muslim scholars say it is permissible if the bride and groom have reached puberty.
TV footage showed both children in traditional wedding clothes in the laps of policemen after the raid – the girl with tears running down her cheeks.
The parents said the wedding had been arranged to end an eight-year feud between the two families, according to a report on Express News TV.
Mr Mazhar said he had heard about similar cases in rural areas but “it is shocking to have this right in the centre of the city.”
The parents are due to appear in court tomorrow.
A Pakistan Human Rights Commission official Hina Gillani said the maximum possible punishment for the parents was one month in jail and fine of just over $10 (£6).

Pakistan is leaded by a thief: Zardari. How can the political and economic situation change? Zardari will try to steal more money from the state...

Asif Ali Zardari aka mr.10% has zero credibility. He is a power hungry, corrupted leader who doesn't care about Pakistan nor it's people. He stole millions while his wife Benazir Bhutto was the prime minister. Now as a president, he will try to steal more money from Pakistan.
As a new president of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, assumed office at a time of great political turmoil, intense militant violence in tribal area, failing economy, high inflation, and deteriorating relations with neighboring India and Afghanistan. The current conditions are not conducive to rule. New government/President Zardar must have clear agenda and proper planning to get country out of major crisis.
Pakistan must change it’s foreign policies. It will disastrous to continue the same old Musharaf foreign policies. Zardari as president, will have to turn to long term friend China and Saudi Arabia to help with economy. Pakistan will have to request Russia and China to support Pakistan and pressure USA/NATO to immediately stop cross border raid into Pakistani territory from Afghanistan. As a nuclear power nation, Pakistan must protect and defend it's order at any cost.
Furthermore, Pakistani government should engage in dialog with tribal leaders. In order to build border fence, Pakistani government needs to convince tribal leader that a border fence will prevent Taliban and drug traffickers coming into Pakistan from Afghanistan.
Pakistan government must come up with regional development plan to support local business, Technical schools to provide vocational training. Education system should be developed so no child is left behind. Islamic Madaris should be under the government regulations. Madaris should use a more modern curriculum which also include math and science. More Schools, Colleges and Universities should be established in the region. New government must come up with a Social Development Plans for FATA region.

A sensible letter on the subject.

Quote:
asalaamulaikum,

Please don't mind what I am going to say, but I am saying it because I think what I am saying make sense and Islamically right.

How do you really know this is definitely president house? It may have been a army guest house or some other high-level govt function hall. I have been to army guest houses which are highly decorated and have photos of chiefs, PMs, and presidents.

What I find really disgusting.... by sending these photos via email, you are not doing any good, but invading into the privacy of someone's private life.

Even it was the president's house.... I think it would still be inappropriate to send someone's private and personal wedding photos all around. I feel sorry for the newly wed couple and for their families that people are looking at their pictures without their knowledge or permission - only becuase someone somewhere thinks this wedding was done in the president's house.

Probably, we ought to alter the way we think and behave.

I hope you understand this, and think before sending anything via emails.

wa'slaam,
SA

^^ Sirkar, this appeared on the web through many websites... The person who published them should be held responsible and accused. After that, we the Public, need masala and gossip..

If any one of those in the above pictures were ever so sensitive to be appearing in public, then they should be making sure that some reliable person is taking their photographs.

The truth is that you can never control the public.. this kind of masala and gossip is just one of kind of entertainment.

Contrast ... between wedding ceremonies: One wedding is of a President's son representing one of the richest Muslim countries and another wedding is of a Prime Minister's son representing one of the poorest Muslim countries.

Wedding of Iranian Presdient’s Son & Pakistani P.M Son Yasir Imran Mirza

Interesting in Iranian wedding "The men enjoy their orange, apple and banana in separate quarters away from the women."
and In Pakistani there was mix gathering.
Now problems is this when they tried in Pakistan that type of things they been treated like Lal Masjid's students have been treated in Past.

Brother, I do not think that mix gathering or isolation of sexes is that important as showing modesty and simplicity in marriages (or in any forms of ceremony, gathering, as well as day to day living). Political personalities are supposed to represent people and they should try to live the way majority live in Pakistan, not as if they are Kings and Queens. Unfortunately in Pakistan, military generals represents people more than politicians, as a military general comes from economically middle and occasionally lower middle class and have gone through lives and restraints of middle and lower middle class. As for Pakistani politicians, they do not represent majority of people in Pakistan, but have their own economical class that they exploit to get elected, so that they can loot and plunder.

As for thugs of Lal Masjid, no one really care whatever way they would have liked to live, as long as they would have stayed peaceful and had kept to themselves. Once they started using force to interfere with the lives and properties of other Pakistanis, they became pest and needed to get eliminated. These people should have known that everyone in Pakistan has equal right to live and preach their ways (religion or whatever) peacefully, but once a thug start using force on others, they become Fitan creator (Mutafanni). In such case, it is duty of state to protect other citizens from them and get rid of these thugs by force.

Mashallah. A magnificent place like Aiwan-e-Sadar should not only be used for matters of state, but should be utilized for other occasions and celebrations.

However, if an Army General becomes the President of Pakistan again, then they can use the Army House for matters of state, and rent out Awan-e-Sadar for other events and functions.
