I think your not reading the discussion about NAATS.
Listen to Koran instead of URDU bhajaans.

LoL, I kinda agree with Zulfi.

Some Naat's are good though but it's best to avoid them beacuse most are too polytheistic.

+ i disagree strongly with zulfikar and galaxy's comments there is nothing wrong with listening to naats as the naat-khuwaan hazraat r praising either the almighty allah subhana wa ta'allah or hazoor nabi-e-mukarram :saw: , the pint about the naats being 2 polytheistic can only across a persons mind if he doubts that there r more than 1 deity's we all know allah is the one and onle rabb. peace

Trust me there is a lot of polytheistic Naat out there and sometimes we don’t even realise it.

In Islam monotheism means a lot more than believing in one God as opposed to two, three or a million.

A few examples of polytheistic Naat are...

"Bhar do jholi meri Ya Muhammad..."

      "BigRi banaa O Makki-Madani..."

"Ae sabz ghumbadh waaley manzoor dua karna..."

"Tere qadmouN meiN aana mera kaam tha, meri kismat jagaana tera kaam hai..."

"Unn ke jo ghulaam ho gaey..."

Any Muslim with the slightest bit of knowledge of the holy Koran and the sayings and actions of the holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would know that asking anything from the unseen to anyone except the Sovereign Lord Allah is polytheism.

Only He can bhar your jholi, only He can bana your bigRi, only He can manzoor your dua, only He can jagaa your kismat and we are only His ghulaam.

It’s sad how Satan misguides so many ‘Muslims’ into believing that which goes against the very foundation of our religion appear as faith but in reality it’s nothing but Satan taking control of our emotions through feelings of ecstasy.

May the Creator the Exalted and Majestic let us all realise the truth and reality of Monotheism and taste the sweetness of faith, Amen.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You will surely follow the ways of those who came before, inch by inch and hand-span by hand-span, such that if they were to enter into the hole of a lizard, you would follow them” his companions asked him “the Jews and the Christians?" he replied “who else?”

And that’s exactly what we are seeing today some Muslims have exaggerated the status of the holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to higher than that of the Lord God or have made him equal to the Lord God in their supplications.

Respecting and loving the holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) more than the whole of creation including oneself is essential to be a believer but don’t make him a deity with Allah because that is polytheism and it’s something Allah will never tolerate.

The holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"Supplication is worship” (Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, an-Nasai, Ibn Majah)

"Supplication is the kernel of worship." (Tirmidhi)

Allah the Exalted says in His Book:

”Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help.” (The Holy Koran 01:05)

“I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me.” (The Holy Koran 51:56)

“He maketh the night to pass into the day and He maketh the day to pass into the night. He hath subdued the sun and moon to service. Each runneth unto an appointed term. Such is Allah, your Lord; His is the Sovereignty; and those unto whom ye pray instead of Him own not so much as the white spot on a date-stone.” (The Holy Koran 35:13)

“If ye pray unto them they hear not your prayer, and if they heard they could not grant it you. On the Day of Resurrection they will disown association with you. None can inform you like Him Who is Aware.” (The Holy Koran 35:14)

“And who is further astray than those who, instead of Allah, pray unto such as hear not their prayer until the Day of Resurrection, and are unconscious of their prayer,” (The Holy Koran 46:05)

“And when mankind are gathered (to the Judgment) will become enemies for them, and will become deniers of having been worshipped.” (The Holy Koran 46:06)

“Attribute they as partners to Allah those who created naught, but are themselves created, And cannot give them help, nor can they help themselves? And if ye call them to the Guidance, they follow you not. Whether ye call them or are silent is all one for you. Lo! those on whom ye call beside Allah are slaves like unto you. Call on them now, and let them answer you, if ye are truthful!” (The Holy Koran 7:191-194)

“He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful.” (The Holy Koran 23:117)

naat-khuwaan hazraat r praising either the almighty allah subhana wa ta'allah
The praise of Allah is called Hamd not Naat.
