helllo all u lovely juvly people out there

so can some one tell me about having fish and milk together wether its good for u ar not
i came across a hadith in which it talks about consuming fish and milk but you should have fish first then once u have finished then if u wish u can drink milk as long as u dont have it in intervals
like taking a bite of a fish then a sip of milk then fish etc

but is there any explanation in science which talks about taking a bite then having milk how it might harm your body

      thnx

In indian punjab; the elders always forbid you from eating fish and milk together and my parents didn't even allow it the same day.

Apparently; they used to scare us by saying that you will get that white skin disease that some desi's get.

The Jews have such a regulation of not mixing meat and dairy products. I have never come across an Islamic injunction on it.
      Oh well. *shrugs*

My grandmother forbade me from drinking milk and eating fish at the same time.

      This does have some merit.

The only reason drinking milk and eating fish leads to that skin disease is that some fish which are not cooked properly when mixed with milk which is also un-clean, causes yeast to metastasizes in the stomach or a fungal growth.

This can lead to melanin production of our body to being stopped and thus causing white spots to appear all over our body.

If both milk and fish are clean and free of bacteria then it won't happen but you never know in places like Pakistan so its best not to drink milk and eat fish at the same time.

No no, its not lemon. I have fish with lemon all the time.

Basically, when you have unclean Milk, there is bacteria in there. You mix that with Fish which has water type bacteria in it, you can cause Yeast to grow.

This growth interferes with the production Melanin in our body.

What Melanin, is what gives our skin its skin color. If you look at Michael Jackson, he has had the same disease. His Melanin production ceased and his skin became totally white.

Citrus Acid can cause Melanin to cease for a while. Thats why drinking Orange Juice, Lemon Juice or Grape Fruit Juice can cause your skin to become fair because it is interfering with the production of Melanin.

But anyways, in places like Pakistan, drinking Milk and eating Fish at the same time is risky so its best to avoid it.

And how do i know all this, I asked a Doctor here in Canada

Yep its rumoured to cause albinoism although the reason i heard was that if the fish is caught during breeding season ,( something about months with letter R in them it, you are suppose to avoid or i dont know eat in those months )might cause albino spots. Am not sure about the validity of it.
