Namaz is an excellent example of why we need sunnat to perform it properly.

It is interesting that these munkireen e hadith consider ruku3 to be a part of namaz, even though Quran CLEARLY talks about Namaz/Salat and Ruku3 as separate ibadat/prayers.
Hence Quran talks about 'aqeemus salat wa aatuz zakat, war ka3u ma3ar raki3een'.
So in such aayats, Quran talks of Salat, Zakat, and RUKU3 seperately; thereby meaning that these are three SEPARATE ibadat!

What do munkireen e hadith/sunnat say about it? Is ruku3 a prayer different from salat?
Why not? If salat and ruku3 are mentioned separately then they should be separate prayers.

The cat is finally out of the bag "Rashad Khalifa" is a messenger of God now according to submitmj. Subhan Allah!

What next? He gets revelations which are definately more authentic than hadith?

Dajjal's mission is to misguide, mislead, and most important of all lead astray people by weakening their imaan and their religious beliefs which are rooted in Quran, first and foremost, and Sunnah as a guide to living (living according to Quran).

How convenient would it be if Dajjal could make muslims believe that Sunnah and Hadith are mumbo jumbo, and everyone can make their own interpretation of Quran or better yet believe in the miracle of 19 by yours truly, Rashad Khalifa.

"I leave you two things after me, hold firm and you shall never go astray. One is Quran and the other is my Sunnah" Final Sermon by Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.)
Dajjal and its agents/minions would love to take atleast one of those away, the rest is half faith and half faith is easier to defeat than full faith. That is why those with the weakest imaan would be in the row of followers of Dajjal. Master of deception.

Furthermore, it's hypocrisy at its highest. We're being told not to take others words as it is not authorized by Allah, and in the same breath being advocated the "interpretation" of some unknown man, and we're meant to take his word as being superior to Hadiths of learned scholars who spent their lives studying the religion and scrutinizing the hadiths to ensure their authenticity.

      Allahu Akbar i say

We should all read Aoozubillah everytime we enter this thread, seriously.

INNA LILLAHE WA INNA ELAIHE RAJEOΣN! At last this person (submitmj) came out after 200 posts in this thread, claiming this Dajjal, imposter Rashed Khalifa as MESSENGER of Allah(SWT).

These shiateen would start to have an excuse first to claim something. Like they say because Hadiths are from the prophet and hair say thats why they are corrupted, TO MAKE THEIR WAY TO FULFIL THEIR DESIRES.

Rashad Khalifa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I don't know how these people are believing these imposters? Do they not have an atom of brains in their skulls........OR they are the same agents flourishing on somebody's money to create RIFT in Islam????????? not necessarily believing what Rashad Mardood is telling.

How can I believe in a person who is charged with sexual assault with a minor..... I really doubt those people's sanity who believe in such imposters.

Why should Rashad be a messenger anyways? I never heard of Rashad Khalifah till recently. His 19 code was made famous by Ahmad Deedat. Anyways everyone should provide evidence from the Quran. I am not sure what is meant by messenger here.

Anyways in the end people should follow those who bring forth evidence from the Quran. Rashad or whoever is not the author of the Quran. Sunnis and Shias must also pledge loyalty to the Quran and abandon this notion that traditions takes precedent over Quran.

There is a lot of people who would manipulate religion for their own purposes so strict observance to the Quran is needed in all situations. This is the straight path.

You must be careful when interpreting the Quran linguistically. This is because the Quran uses variant languages when addressing issues. i have seen many people do that and end up being contradictory. Its always best to interpret the Quran based on context and cross referencing with the rest of the Quran.

I like to interpret the Quran by meaning and context and look at the rest of the Quran to get an understanding. The Quran is not a normal book and its use of language is unique. This is the same mistake Sunnis do when they seperate God from messenger or the Quran from wisdom. They end up contradicting themselves since to obey God and His messenger can only bepossible if there is agreement between the two and not contradiction. Thats why Sunnis say the Sunnah abrogates the Quran, this way they end up following the Sunnah but not the Quran. You can't follow two contradictory injunctions so they end up abandoning the Quran. And thats not cool.

^ Wishy washy paintbrush ... and you have the key to understanding the Qur'an and those who spent their lives studying it and passing their studies through the generations dating back in an unbroken chain to the prophet Muhammad (SAW) don't? Nice try .... Peace
      The Prophet(SAW) said:
"I am leaving you two things and you will never go astray as long as you cling to them -- they are the Book of Allah and my Sunnah." [Reported by Al- Haakim - Sahih].

^ Every one who studies Quran on their own will come up with his own version of Islam, which will be radically different from each other.
This is why Quran is insufficient unless explained through hadith and sunnat.

So what do you say? Is ruku a part of namaz?

22.26. Behold! We gave the site, to Abraham, of the (Sacred) House, (saying): "Associate not anything (in worship) with Me; and sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or stand up, or bow, or prostrate themselves.

So bowing like prostrating is form of prayers.

"Behold! The angels said, 'Oh Mary! God has chosen you and purified you, chosen you above the women of all nations. Oh Mary! Worship your Lord devoutly. Prostrate yourself, and bow down with those who bow down'" (3:42-43).

Good to know I am not alone on this forum as far as this stance is concerned... though I woudn't call myself a "Quranist", but simply muslim.
