I have heard that Wazifas can have a side effect to them...or they are bhaaree...but like can a Wazifa have side effect if someone is not in a wudu and does it? I believe that yes some duas can be heavy on someone but like they can't have side effect to them because they are after all from the Quran i.e. word of Allah.

yes sista.. they sometimes have an adverse effect, becaz it is in such a form that it is hard to understand and when we keep reciting what we are unaware of causes uncertainity in our lives

      like let me explain,

YASEEN is word whose meaning is not given, but then if we keep reciting YASEEN we may end up anywhere-- not that it is dectructive but then theres uncertainity, so many things have many meanings.

for example i could never understand this ayah that jaisa murd waisy aurat, what does it exactly refer to..

i have discussed it with many ppl but still im not able to understand it fully

I heard that every ayat of quran has muwakkals who guard the ayat. Every muwakkal carries strengths that takes care of different aspect of life. We should not do wazifa by picking an ayat randomly cause things could happen differently than what we are asking for based on which part of quran we are reciting as wazeefa.

I know it may sound a mambo jambo to some but I strongly believe in taking ijaazat of wazifa from a learned scholar rather that slecting things on our own.
My father believed that if the world found out who I really was they'd reject me out of fear.

There are a certain wazifa's or ayats that are said can be recited whenever one can/wants...so does that mean that its okay to recite them without wudu as well? since people cant be in wudu all the time.

      Peace teelobhain

You tend to ask very difficult questions and I think it is best if you read a good book on the topic. I'll see if I can find one.

Well said TLK .. and It does NOT sound mambo jambo .. what you said is 100% correct .. one of the biggest condition of reciting a wazifa is that YOU Need permission / Ijaazat from a sheikh/learned scholar ....reason being is that the sheikh is ur source of guidence ..and a sheikh can only give guidance IF he has accomplished that wazifa and has done 'amal-acted' upon it... so when he gives you ijaazat to do a certain wazeefa ...he knows that it will only be for your benifit.

Only those wazifa have side effects whose intentions are bad and are given to do by faasiq and faajir peers and fake scholars .. i.e. such as these ikhbaari / newspaper peers .. or those who never read namaz and all they do is dish out wazifaz just so they can get the mureeds pocket money .. for example .. ppl want a wazifa so they can fall in love with someone .. << this is wrong ..cos Allah knws wats best and he will make it happen ... no need for a wazifah .. and secondly its with wrong intentions ..

but like bro psyah said .. teelobhain you certainly have a way of making things interesting as i ve seen a few of your threads before..

So is that a good thing or bad? and like i don't think its wrong, i just ask stuff for my knowledge...i do tend to go a bit in depth and all but thats because a lot of the people make it complicated for me to understand and i want to understand and simplify is for myself.

So where do you find a learned scholar or nice sheikh?

Good question! some families probably have scholars/sheikhs but what about those who don't i.e. like mine, who never ever mentioned anything like that at least to me to be honest.
