I have heard from a lot of people that Ayat-e-Karima is a very powerful ayat and whoever recites it their problems get solved, their duas are granted etc and i have actually not only heard from people but also seen some of the people with which it has happened. reciting it even 5000 times is enough but people recite it 1 lakh 25 thousand times as well which is even better of course. I have been trying to do so as well...heard from people that your problems start getting the results even when you have read it only 10 thousand times or so...so i just wanted to know that if you don't see results and things going the way you want them to even if your there does that mean that the dua is not supposed to get answered and the problems wont end? in that case should one just stop reciting it and move on thinking that its probably for the best hence even after trying so much nothing seems to be happening? or should one keep on trying and hope for the duas to get heard and obviously the best?

      Misconceptions

Aayt e Karima is part of Quraan right. so why not recite the whole quraan and one verse CANT be classed as more powerful over the other .. The entire Quran is powerful equally.

secondly, if a person prays 5 times .. and recites durood upon the Prophet SAW and recites the Quraan and understands it 'not from google point of view' but learn/understand it from an Aalim and then acts upon what is learnt ... then that person does not need to do any wazeefay *not saying that they aint allowed but just saying this is the way to go about it* i.e. Prayer is Farz and wazaaif etc are nafl..

leme give you an example .. if a person eats badaam - almonds lets say after hes eaten .. hes gona feel the deliciousness and mazza of eating the badaam .. but if that person is hungry and his stomach is vibrating to be fed and then you try to eat badaam .. it aint gona affect you .. your gona wana eat a full meal .. exactly the same way .. anything to get its effect you need to prepare for it .. i..e. pray salah then only will your other wazaif ..nafli ibaadaat will effect a persons life.

      hope it helps

teelobhain... we know of a family member who at a very young age has been diagnosed with a tumour.. alhamdolilah shes been operated on and INSHALLAH the prognosis looks good for her future even though she will have to be monitored.. by the Grace of Allah swt we all read ayat e karima...and made dua...for her recovery, long health and thanking Allah swt for blessing her with rehmat..inshallah Allah knows best but the women folk do believe that ayat e karima is alhamdolilah a powerful verse...Allah swt knows best...

I know exactly what you are saying and i don't disagree with you...everything is true. But i didn't say the way you took me. Obviously the whole quran together is very powerful Mashallah, as the elders say Quran kay lafz lafz mein takaat hai.

I dont know which ayat is ayat e karima.. it is true and even proved from hadiths that reading certain ayats grants benefits.

regarding duas not being heard.. all the dua are heard. Allah grants when he wants and some times not because that is better for the person. requests not granted willhave a great ajar in akhrat that a believer will say.. kash meri koi bhi dua kabool nahee hoti.

Did you also tell him how many times and for how many days he should recite the surah?

no i didnt, i guess the mans iman didnt need him to be told that info.. how ever it should be read 7 times and the spit of the person reading should be placed over the diseased area.

this according to a hadith even cures snake bites.
