"And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me, so they should answer My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way"
[surah al-Baqarah; 2:186]
Read not to contradict and confute, not to believe and take for granted, not to find talk and discourse, but to weigh and consider. Inhale positive, exhale negative

Oh man.. this is too hard. I have so many favorites. And I'm breaking the rules because I find wisdom from all traditions!
The entire book of Song of Solomon
An excerpt-- "Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth—
for your love is more delightful than wine. "
Within the Jewish tradition, it's seen as an allegory of the relationship between God and Israel. For Christians it's an allegory of chirst and the church/or the believer.
Guru Granth Sahib
"Do not say that the Vedas, the Bible and the Koran are false. Those who do not contemplate them are false."
There are also several ancient hymns to goddesses that I adore, but they're too long to post here.

HE grants wisdom to whom HE pleases, and whoever is granted wisdom has indeed been granted abundant good; and none would take heed except those endowed with understanding.

"Say O' Mohammad: O' mankind, verily, I am sent to you all"
7:158
"And we have not sent you (O' Mohammad) except as a giver of glad tidings and a warner to all mankind, but most of men know not"

As it is about impact i would choose this verse from the Qu'ran.
31:19
Be modest in thy bearing and subdue thy voice. Lo! the harshest of all voices is the voice of the ass.
