I really don't see the logic in thinking that there's no creator...

Even if you bring evolution into the equation it STILL doesn't make sense without a creator...

IMHO atheists seem like people tying to delude themselves into thinking that life has no purpose... and you know what they say, if you repeat a lie enough times, even YOU start to believe it.

Another thing. Once I was at a Mosque gathering, and someone said, "Deen akkal kee cheez nahi hain, nakkal kee cheez hain" and I completely disagreed with him. Everything in Islam is based in logic. You just have to find it. 1400 years ago Sahaba slept on their sides because they saw the prophet doing it. Only now are we starting to realize the immense health benefits. Anyway, so I bought up this issue with my Chachoo and Chachee and they said that Deen is "nakkal" and when you use "akkal" too much it leads to atheism. This indicates (to me) that she thought "akkal" cannot recognize a creator.

I disagree. I think if you use your akkal enough, you can recognize a creator. But if you use your akkal to a degree and stop wherever it suits you than obviously you'll find what you want to.

^^ Lol
Actually a Donkey-worshippers (if there is any religion of this kind) are more "Aqal-Mand" then an atheist, as they stand on no grounds, may it be moral or logical.

Standing for what you believe in, regardless of the odds against you, and the pressure that tears at your resistance, means courage

i don't agree with all of you
because because becoming an atheist is a first step of going from false faith to true faith
because they say there is no god

muslim also start with this sentence in there kalma shadat
second step is but God/Allah

becoming an atheist means they have taken the first step by saying there is no god
now it is up to us to convince them that but GOD/Allah

Nobody is asking any of you to prove your faith.
Why bother an athiest community to ask about their beliefs or no beliefs.

I think it would be a good exercise... Nobody can actually prove their position. At best they can give circumstantial evidence. In the end, I think that "lakum deenukum wa liya deen" will prevail: The natural order of things.

On the contrary sir, Islamic faith is always in question, through out this forum.

People question someone's love for prophet muhammed, they question existence of miracles , they question islamic laws and fatwas.

The question in discussion also makes sense as people are muslim or hindus cause their parents are such. In the case of atheist, its mostly a choice. It is justified to inquire, what goes through someone's mind to make that choice

A Question to Atheists:

Don't you think if (Allah forbid) all people of this world become atheists then it would give rise to more Hitlers and more Jenghiz Khans because there won't be any fear of punishment and hope for reward in hereafter.

No matter which ever field in life you take it works on this rule.

A person does exercise with a fear of becoming a victom of any health problems and with a hope of getting physical fitness.

.......................all professions in the world work on the hope of rewards of wining and fear of the consequenses of losing

A student work hard for exams because the motivation factors are the same Fear of losing and hope of winning.

Btw Who would provide Justice to Hitler and his victoms. Suppose a politician dies by gaining false popularity (decieving people ) and becomes hero of people as no one knows about his (wrong means of becoming hero, by killing ...etc) Than WHO would disclose the truth to the common ignorant man.

Read not to contradict and confute, not to believe and take for granted, not to find talk and discourse, but to weigh and consider. Inhale positive, exhale negative

Do not ask, 'Where is God?', but ask, 'where am I?'

Ask yourself who sent you to this amazing place which you didn't know for billions of years till the time you were born. Who selected your place of birth, colour of skin, shape of eyes, your unique voice, your language, your time of birth, choice of your parents, without YOUR OWN permission and WILL ??

DId you ask someone to send you here, NO. Than WHY ARE YOU HERE ????

muali have you not heard of Richard Dawkins?

The guy who consistently writes rubbish like the God Delusion?

Atheists nowadays are just as bad as the worst Jehova's witnesses

queer... That's not a question...

Mainly because according to Islamic belief we have no idea who God is. God is not limited by time, place, space, resources or any of the other things that limit human beings.

But the fact that there's so much amazing beauty in the world. The fact that some things look so alike despite one being at the bottom of the ocean and one flying in the sky, tells me that there definitely is a higher being. And I don't mean an old man with a beard in the sky. I mean a logical, divine, perfect creator.

Atheism doesnt seem very logical.. Agnostics seem to be more on the mark.

What's more logical? People who believe they have jinns in their bathroom or those who do not believe in any god? It's a hard call.
