How many of you pray Eid namaz ?
Is it a must to ?
Should i post this in religion section?
gunaah toh nahi hai if you dont pray na ?
I only prayed it twice once in makkah & once in madinah 
Jee Nahi Main nahi jaa rahi *snooty*

eid kii namaaz waajib hai aur paRhnaa zaroori hai magar aurtoN ke liye farz nahiiN hai...just like jum'a prayer

eid ke namaz farz nahi hai,ada karo to suwaab hai aur na karo tou gunnah nahi(i think)
jo mere baad post kare ga wo mota..

women are exempt from offering eid prayer [just like jum'a]. any namaaz baa jamaa'at is not recommended for women coz its not required of them. if i were a woman i wud gladly take take ruKhsat

theres this hadeeth which says even if a woman doesnt have to pray( their off days) they should visit the mosque atleast
i am not sure but i have heard that eid ke namaz is like the pay day.We fast through out a month and on eid God blesses us suwaab n stuff? not sure though.

well, what i learned from my dad i just passed it on to others. its more common in the west than in the east. Hazrat Omar [r.a.] had put a ban on women's visit to masaajid and there is a Hadees that if there were supposed to eb another prophet it wud have been Omar [r.a.].

i am sure theres some misunderstanding/misconception.i havent heard of anything as that.
Islam Question and Answer - Eid prayer for women is Sunnah
although u can read this  where Prophet encouraged women to go to mosque for eid=]
