Two i wish to mention:
Abdus Salam, who was a shared winner of the 1979 Nobel Prize for Physics for his work in electro-magnetism and the interaction of elementary particles, also founder of SUPARCO and ICTP and was pretty much responsible for setting up the Nuclear Reseach Institutes in Pak.
Another one worth mentioning is Pervez Hoodbhoy (love his surname

), not only is he a prominent figure by being a nuclear physicist and head of Physics at QeA Uni in Isb, but he's also an activist and has written about many issues, the majority of which i have read are about women's rights and educational issues.
On a side note....I wonder why there aren't many prominent female Science figures in Pakistan...??
