Bulati hogi woh mujhey.
Lekin is shore sharabay mein,
Meh ous say dour jata raha.
Apni taklifon meh yaad karti hogi mujhey.
Lekin pathar dili mein,
Meh ous kay dard apnay aap say chupata raha.
Ansoun bahati hogi akaylay mein woh.
Lekin is bhari duniya mein,
Meh ous kay akaylaypan ko jhoot samajhta raha.
Hoti hogi ousay saans laynay mein mushkil.
Lekin inn thandi hawaon keh jhonkon mein,
Meh ous ki saansein bhulakay apni saansein bharta raha.
Andharay meh sayon ko dekhkay darjati hogi woh.
Lekin jaltay diyon ki roshni mein,
Meh apnay haton say sayeh banata raha.
Thand mein baychain hoti hogi woh.
Lekin is bhari dupair mein,
Meh sookon say apnay adhooray khawab mukammal karta raha.
Gulabon ko chuntay hue chubhan hoti hogi ousay.
Lekin giri hui patiyon keh chaman mein,
Meh nagay paoun hasi khushi chalta raha.
