well,i've already told u Riffat siraj never did happy endings in her novels..she's a very realistic writer....although she's my favourite but i dont like her endings..

I haven't read dil phoolon ki basti..but i've heard abt this novel,do u know this drama is currently on air on ptv world,but i dont watch it cuz i dont watch ptv dramas..
