i read in a newspaper about the wedding and that she didnt attended the wedding as she wasnt happy with the mariage!

Lets not get misled into another masala news thrown into air by media!
Atiqa was traveling and had been rather busy. I was in touch with her on my facebook continuously.
She is my very dear friend...and I know she is a rock solid women of substance...who has been a source of inspiration at pak_showbiz.
She is one of the most beautiful person we have at pak_showbiz in line with Zeba Bakhtiar, Imaan Ali and Aisha Khan....and others I know fairly well....and precise reason she is suddenly picked up for some masala news...on any occasion which has a proximity to her.
I find this fairly unjustified that questions be raised on Atiqa's absence from her daughter's wedding.
Now....Dulha mian is very closely known to me. His name is RAZA GHEEWALLA son of my close friend Yunus...my neighbor at BON VISTA.
He is a media guy himself on sports and has worked for HUM TV and other channels. A very fine lad and totally professional. Very obedient and hails from a very decent family.
UMNIA IFTIKHAR daughter of Iftikhar Salahuddin..Atiqa's first husband who is related to Yousaf Salahuddin, is indeed a very very sweet and decent girl. She has worked for GEO and other channels besides being right hand person to Atiqa in her ODHO PRODUCTIONS.
I find this marraige a very blissfull one and let us all wish a very happy and prosperous married life to RAZA & UMNIA and that they live happily ever after........

Someone asked for wedding pics? I was invited by Yunus but I couldn't go..being down with severe flu attack that day. But I do have two pics of Raza & Umnia (of Thailand) which Raza cascaded on facebook yesterday.

I find it strange that the bride's mom is missing form the wedding!!!!! yeh to angrezon mein bhi nahi hota LOL. I think if people speculate why she wasn't there then it's but natural. It is strange no matter what excuses we use to justify her absence. also, everybody loves gossiping so no need to get defensive.

If you are alluding to zardari becoming the president of Pakistan, I think it's not just strange but also disappointing and highly unfortunate. Our country has been blessed with so much talent and resources but we are so unfortunate to have such corrupt people as our rulers. I hate it that zardari has become our president. can't express in words how disappointed I am.

atiaqa is more prettier n gorjeous then her daughter,,,she not even look like her .i like atiqa odho she is a adorable lady.

lets say I know a guy to fly airplane and who took atiqa to islamabad more then once on Sarkari airplane.
I guess you don't know her enough?

She has flown the 'sarkari' plane of the Sultan of Brunie also when she went to attend some wedding in Brunie from KL we were on shoot of CHAHATAIN in Aug-2002...and that doesn't mean that she dated the Sultan also ...... or does it ?
IF I dont know her enough...I am glad about it !
But..my friend...IF I know her well...then its in sanctity of my friendship that I keep things to myself....!!!
BTW...she also flew the 'sarkari' jahaz during earthquake aftermath.. to Azad Kashmir......with Shakil and others!
My cousin is an iportant person in PIA and Civil Aviation....connected with the Presidential and PM special AIRBUS 300 (gifted by Qatar to Pakistan) which is used by VVVVVVVIPs and informs (on phone just now) that whoever travels that aircraft has to be listed in the roster for security purposes.
