1. NO (though PTV has the spools of the VTR it was recorded and it has not been repeated for strange reasons. I know this serial is well maintained at PTV Isloo's VAULT)
2. Probably..because someone did sneak it out from Lahore Centre that he received a sack..years ago.But it's in the archives...at Isloo.
3. Kahan Hein Aap..mere bhai!. You are talking about 70's and this program was based on SESAME STREET concept as we had BIG BIRD also...with the name of program changing to GUP SHUP which also had a song; SUNO GUPSHUP...SUNO GUPSHUP...KE NAO MEIN NADDEE DOOB GAYEE...!
   I did three episodes in this series during my visit to Lahore--courtesy Shoaib Hashmi and my good friend (Shamim Hilaly's brother who died a year back..) HASNAT AHMAD...who was also the stock artiste in that series with Abbas Shafi, Maryam Hussain, Shoaib Hashmi himself, Naveed Shahzad and Salman Shahid....
   I dont think there are any episode of that B&W spool available anymore...but I will ask Manizah Hashmi and revert.

Hey, Zair zabar Pesh is avilable on DVD. It has been released 'unofficially'. check with your local dvd shop.

i honestly do not understand why PTV is adamantly keeping all these classics locked up in their vaults! to this day there is so much demand for these plays, whats the point of hiding them away?! I just saw the absolutely lovely classic play "Parchaiyan" on youtube, with Rahat Kazmi and Sahira Kazmi in the lead, its an adaptation, but beautifully written by Hasina Moin, doing justice to the novel its based on. God bless these ppl who get their hands on these classics and share them with everyone ufff it was such a treat! the kazmis made a STUNNING couple! Rahat Kazmi was so dashing and Sahira looked beautiful in each and every scene. i wonder if they were married by then or after the play, both had GREAT chemistry in every scene. Heres the link

Parchaiyaan is a classic!!!! I think it has the best dialogues ever written for a tv drama. potrait of a lady has been adapted even in hollywood but somehow I felt parchiayaan is the most interesting adaptation of this novel. and some of the dialogues have been changed they're not all literally translated. it's dificult to write adaptations that surpass the original work. considering that, kudos to the whole team. it's definitely an underrated classic.

speaking of old dramas I relly like these dramas

3. Tanhaiyaan

4. Dhoop Kinaaray and sooo many more dramas that i can't think of right now.

Zer Zaber Pesh ka remake bhi hua tha kya? With the name "Ek Nae Mod pe", kya ye sahi hai?

"Gup Shup" ki ek Episode end of 80`S mein repeat hui thi, PTV ke pas hona chahiye.

Ek baat aur bataen mere Paas Zer zaber Pesh B/W version hai, agar kyunke PTV isko telecast nahi kar raha hai agar main isko yahan upload karon to problem to nahi hogi?

"BA ADAB BA MULAHIZA" I think I´ve also this play.

I love PTV old dramas dhoop kinaray, tanhaiyaan,ahat, aanch,dasht, aangan teraa, Aroosa and many more.

This website has a vast collection of old and new ptv dramas. You may not find Zair Zabar Paish but you'll find other dramas mentioned in this thread, like aahat, tanhaiyaan waghera.
