Has anyone else watched the show? IMHO, Ali Saleem is really disgusting. And I don't understand what the channel, producers etc. are trying to achieve by showing stuff like this on t.v. An alleged man dressing up as a woman and claiming that 'she' is going to empower Pakistani women. Give me a break. And why does he/she have to dance with all the male celebrities??? That's so tasteless to say the least. In fact, sickening would be a more appropriate term. If only I knew who to complain to about this, so that they would close this disgusting show(or rather change the sickening host, or would that be 'hostess'??)

Agree.
No respect or liking for him and his vulgarity.

Agree. Hum tv is a family channel, they should not be airing shows like Rangeeli because you cant watch it with your family and kids. Most families would switch to other channels than let their kids watch a 'transvestite' flirting and cracking perverted jokes with male celebrities.
It was a bad decision to promote it in the month of ramadan and even worse to air it on EID day. I think Hum tv is losing the plot. If it wants to be known as a family channel and wants family viewers then these kind of shows should be stopped. Period.
I wouldnt want my children to watch them.
Edit: I also know alot of people in real life who are disgusted by this show.

Sadly, I don't think Hum TV has ever cared to be a channel for the 'families' or show decent dramas. It's always been majorly about skin show, pathetic and vulgar scenes.. i.e- Pyaasi, NoorPur ki Rani (Mahnoor's unnecessary skin show), Ishq Junoon Deewangi, all those dramas with Faisal and Noman, and the worst of the lot- that drama with Meera and Adnan Siddiqui. I was so happy when viewers called on NKS to tell Adnan Siddiqui off and how disappointed they were with him.

Ali Saleem is chakka ............... is it true ?
If time is not real, then the dividing line between this world and eternity, between suffering and bliss, between good and evil, is also an illusion.

I mean honestly, what is this world coming to? I am so angry. Oh and on that eid day show, he was cracking those perverted and suggestive jokes, and that chichora Sahir Lodhi was also 'abetting' him. It was so maddening, had to change the channel after a few minutes. Ugh. Pakistani media needs to learn to be maturer, and to realize that skin show and showing unnecessary intimate scenes isn't going to make them modern or liberal! This is not our culture or religion. But it seems as if they have a covert agenda to promote this sort of stuff after all, if you keep watching something you become immune to it eventually.

That day at her morning show Sanam Baloch was asking her guests that why do we like and encourage rangeeli when we make fun of others like him/her (whateva). I think she was rite. People like Rangeeli are sooooo disgusting.

Hum TV is not a family channel as per strictest 'Pakistan' standards. The show is digusting; they could have used ali saleem in a better manner. I am not against shows of female impersonators but they should have a quality; begum nawazish is better though.

I have seen Moin Akhtar dress up and act like a woman in Rozy, and with class.
This is just plain cheap and vulgar.

I don't mind Ali Saleem/Begum/Rangeeli but the bollywood factor in the show is a massive turn off

Well said.
I find Hum tv to be quited a twisted channel. I seriously doubt their owners have a noble agenda on hand. From what I have seen their drama and shows have a subliminal message thats quite evil. Firstly, they're propagating a westernized value system; They openly endorse premarital relationships, vulgarity, exposing, dancing, adultery etc through their programs. Almost every drama/soap sticks to this agenda. We all know these things are forbidden in islam. So what kind of family channel is it?
Soaps like piyaasi were disgusting. To make matters worse, the producer sultana siddiuqi kept on saying it teaches girls not to go astray. Now how on earth can anybody learn sanity from a soap that romanticizes and glamourises premarital sex and makes a tragic heroine out of a vamp. God hep these confused liberals!I wonder who calls hum tv a family channel. Only zombies could stand their twisted programs.
Rangeeli is another realization of their fanciful dreams. Now, they want to glamourise cross-dressing males. Wow! Even the west hasn't progressed so much!
Ali saleem is one confused individual who doesn't even know what his sex is. Somebody take him to the psychiatrist plz.
