I am really liking Dawn. Mainly because its entirely in English, so I get it. And even if people speak in Urdu, they have a translator down at the bottom of the screen.
On top of it, they actually do decent reporting on the Pakistani Entertainment industry. Today, they interviewed Arieb Azhar. That guy gets like zero coverage on other channels.
Dawn News also has some cooking shows, which are super yummy...
And the No Reservations show by Ayesha Alam is worth watching.
I don't get the feeling the news is biased. They do not generate sympathy for terrorists, like what GEO friggin did during the Lal Masjid episode. 
I'm watching this cooking show now "For the Love of Food" - really well done.
I believe in dragons, good men, and other fantasy creatures.

^ i think we are talking about pak news channels here
'Dawn' is definitely the best, 'Aaj' is next whereas 'Geo' is a total drama, there's a strong sense of political bias in their reporting.

Dawn is a nice channel. I like it too.
and PCG Lal Masjid ppl were not terrorist. I know its a seperate issue and do not want to start a discussion here but still I thought I will tell.

dawn news is CLASS
and one of my favorite channels is aag tv specially navin's new show rocks i aslo like aag cuz they show hadiqas firestarter ads come on everyday  <3<3

I think Aaj pretty much has the most balanced non-partisan coverage
Glad to learn that Dawn has moved beyond it's preamie stages. The last time I saw it the newscasters had a certain amount of awkwardness to them and were doing a bad job with their faux-accents and long pauses.
