I have watched her couple of Serials (Noor Pur Ki Rani & Manchley), "Morning With Hum" and a long play that I dont remember the name of. For a new comer, she is doing really good.

If there is any such thing, I'd say she is new era's Marina Khan.

Whats your input on this?

sanam is cute, not pretty but cute....her acting in doraha was pretty impressive but in noor pur ki rani it was ok...overall she has the potential.....

she is good but i wouldn't compare her to marina khan (just my opinion) because i never got bored of marina khan, no matter how many times i have watch tanhaiyan, and dhoop kinaray, but sanam baloch, is a bit irritating after a while.
i started watching chodhween ka chand (last year's ramazan drama from hum tv) and i stopped watching it after 3 episode because her acting was sooooooooo irritating, cuz it is EXACTLY the same as, manchalay, noor poor ki rani (her other dramas, i don't remember their name, excluding doraha) and her morning show.

Sanam Baloch is a very nice new comer and she still have chance to improve herself more.

she is definitely talented and knows how to act, a total natural in front of the camera. she has carved a name for herself in a very very short time and that alone says a lot, just like marina khan after only a couple of unforgettable roles, she stands out.

if sanam chooses her projects wisely she will remain a sought after actress (like marina) but if she jumps at every offer that comes her way then she will join the long list of overexposed actors who lose their 'star' factor by being anywhere and everywhere.

She is the younger sister of Sambreen Baloch who was Nirmal in Meri Adhoori mohabbat on Geo Tv.

She did great in noor pur ki rani, especially being the school girl, looked very cute. And i think she will do great in future aswell, she got the talent!

She's doing a gr8 job as Mithu too. Doing justice to her role.

And as Rija in Chowdween ka chand she was doing gr8 again as the stupid girl.

Arshad Mahmood is one actor who never got fair share in fame and work (as per his potential). He is a REALLY good actor and delivered in whatever role he got.

Javeria Abbasi will be hosting the show?...why :|...they should have brought ghazal back:s

as for topic....Sanam is good but she can be compared with marina khan....Marina has a class of her own , even when she was sanam's age and the kind of projects she did were truly amazing...tanhaiyan , ankhai, parosi anch...and many other dramas in which marina wooed the audience only through her acting skills.

Ghazal was good...but remember viewers always look for change. One musn't go overboard that public becomes a far cry!

Comparing SANAM to MARINA is like comparing Kajol to Katherine Hepburn ! Sanam is a new comer who is doing wonderfully good but she would be a confirmed novice to the class MK has acquired.
Let's see how she progresses.
When Ghulam Mohiuddin made his debut in MERA NAAM HAI MUHABBAT...his lead being Babra Sharif....he asked me how would he fare...when we saw the premiere? I told him that he should never try and compete Nadeem and Mohd. Ali....because if he does.. he'll destroy himself with various modes on adopting.
Similarly, Sanam who I strongly believe, has immense talent, should concentrate on her own mannerism---also getting out of the NPKR shell....and she'll succeed. Variation is a must!

Arshi is doing wonderfully well at NAPA as Zia Moheyuddin's posse !
His recent stage play SEAGUL was fantabulous...at the Arts Council
Auditorium.

We are currently rehearsing for a stage play scheduled in early December titled "KAUN HAI" adaptation of Harold Pinter's "BIRTHDAY PARTY" where Arshi plays my brother alongside Shakila, Omera, as khalajan and phuppo with Talat Hussain as Khalu Jaan !
