Found the answer to my own question. I didn't realise Noor Jehan was married to Ejaz.

There were just two occasions in the life of Madam Noor Jehan when she had to keep tabs on her husband Ejaz Durrani! Once, primarily, she barged in onto the set of Masood Parvez’s Heer Ranjha to watch whether her personal life hero isn’t too close to Firdous for comfort! Another occasion was when Shabnam and Ejaz played the lead in Dosti. But that proved to be false alarm. Of course, for Heer Ranjha how would Ejaz and Firdous play the legendary lovers without being convincing

ya noor jahan was married to ejaz durrani (actor/producer) whose daughter shazia was married to singer khalid waheed (they later got divorced).

as far as i know noor jahan's and ejaz's relationship was not good since ejaz "had treated her badly and left her for the sake of ephemeral sexual conquests, when he lay in a jail in England on a drugs smuggling charge".

Noor jahan did two marriages

First: syed shaukat hussain rizvi (director/producer)-------> kids were (akbar hussain rizvi, asghar hussain rizvi and zille huma)

Second: Ejaz Durrani (actor/producer)-----> kids were (hina, shazia and nazia)

Syden Shukat Hussain Rizvi, her husband passed away (1999) a year before she did (2000)

that is sonia jahan (sonia rizvi)...she is the granddaughter of noor jahan yani daughter of akbar hussain rizvi.

sonia has been in bollywood films like my name is khan, khoya khoya chaand and taj mehal plus in pakistani ads like telenor talk shawk and lux. sonia is married to vivek narain

firdous was having an affair with her husband ejaz...it was getting our of hand .... thats when she put her foot down . madam wielded a lot of control on the film industry her songs pop resulted in the successful career of many actresses....firdous was quite talented (heer ranjha , aansoo) but bec noor stopped singing for her it affected her career. firdous later got involved in drugs..she marred some rich seth(dont they all do) the famous firdous market in lahore was owned by her.
