nawa aaya hai sowneya
Rexdale is a desi area on the west end of Toronto - close to the Airport. After Gerrard, its the biggest Desi business community in the GTA.

I live in Virginia and will be visiting Toronto area for the first time.
I love mangoes when I lived in Pakistan and someone told me they get those in Toronto, so I'm really looking forward to some when I'm there.
I think there are some other threads on Toronto that talks about good places to eat. I will check that out too....most of them seem to be on Gerrard street.

Can you name a couple of stores? If you can provide address or phone number for them that would be helpful, otherwise I'll do a search on the net.
thanks.

aah yes... good ole Thorncliffe... did you not see any aunties sitting on the sidewalk while their lil boys played cricket in the middle of the road? or better yet desi uncles sitting on the bridge railing and blabbering on.
Talking about Thorncliffe, Iqbal Foods in Thorncliffe might have mangoes too.
