I have a lot about the Lahore Tikka Restaurant in Toronto. I was wondering if anyone out there had the menu? I have checked on the net - Zero.
Thanks

I don't know about the online menu, but here are the reviews for this place:

Personally, I found it horrible. Bad food and over-priced. I'd rather go eat elsewhere on Gerrard St.

yeah - grossly over-rated restaurant... you have far better options to eat out in Toronto.
Actually, I don't like any places on Gerrard - elsewhere in Scarborough, you have Silver Spoon, Pakwanchi, Ghareeb Nawaz (takeout only) which are much better.
Even Tandoori Time which I find is over-priced has better food than Lahore Tikka.

Nothing beats Silver Spoon/Karachi Kitchen (Chaudhry Mateen) in desi foods. The guy has limited exposure here in Canada but back in Pakistan he is still Mr. Biggie.

Yup! Silver Spoon serves the best biryani!
Pakwanchi looks so nasty, that I wouldn't want to eat there again. Plus I had a tiny piece of brick in my meal while they were renovating, so that was a big turn-off. Sis ordered haleem and it didn't feel right. That was really the last time we went there.
Silver Spoon - for Biryani
Pak Center (at least under old management) - for kabab parathas
Shahi Karahi - sometimes for kababs
Rest is good at home.
Gerrard St is too over-rated.

Learn the secret recipes and start 'Sara's Kitchen'. If you learn the recipes right, chances are that it could turn into a viable business.

You know I told my mother htat, if she started a business she'd be rich, but she said no. I think when anyone cooks for their family, fo rthe ppl they love, the food is good. Restaurant food is just not my thing.
She won't teach me until I earn a bachelors That's hwo great her cooking is

Perhaps you should learn to cook this summer, if you're off from school. That could've been a goal for me for the summer, but unfortunately I'm enrolled in school full-time.

The best place to get Kababs in toronto is from Iqbals. This place is the best. Shahi Karahi has nasty kababs.
Iqbal Kebab & Sweet Centre: 2 Thorncliffe Park Dr, East York (416) 425-7800I recommend everyone try it.

I've had Iqbal's Kababs, but they weren't all that good. I only went there once and never again. Not worth it for me at least.

Never eat Kulfi or Falooda in Lahore tikka .... a tip given to me by one insider.
I hate Silver Spoon, they sell rubber chicken instead of tandoori. The one on the Markham Road is a bit better though.

yes over rated, but wait until they finish decorating. Then everyone going there just for that
Their kulfi is amazing too. I find most food decent.
Try Tandoori time, one of the best resturants in TO for desi (overall, price vs quality vs place ...)
