So beside Popeyes what other frenchises are Halal?
Just found out that Mary Browns's 8 locations in GTA are now Halal. I have yet to try it though.

Villa Madina, theres a few of them across GTA now. One in Vaughan Mills mall, one at Square One, one in downtown at Scotia Plaza right across the street from you jp!
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Alot of KFC's have been serving halal chicken (not chicken sandwiches) for some time now. They get their chicken from Maple Lodge farms.

A few of Halal Pizza and Wings places are now opened in Brampton and Mississsauga.
I have tried 786 pizza in brampton Home Page and it is not bad at all. They need to open more branches.
Another Pizza frenchise in GTA: PizzaPros
have not tried this yet.

If you are happened to be in downtown TO close to yonge and dundas, try "Slice of New York" eatery place. It is located on Edward Street close to Bay and Queen St.
I have to give hats off to these guys. Their Stumbolis are to die for. I highly recommend.
They are closed on Friday afternoon for an hour for Namaz.
I wish they had more branches like this

Singapore Garden has great chinese (hakkah?) food. Try their general tso chicken and spicy sizzling shrimp. The food takes time but it's worth the wait. It's not that expensive, average $10 per plate. I think it's in Brampton, not sure where exactly. I don't live in GTA.

You can get good pizza from Kabul Farms on Queen Street.
Personally, I really dislike Nando's.
