The forecast is great for this weekend. Please suggest weekend activities (easy on the $$$) for people aged 39, 29, 28, 12, 9, 5.
The easy answer is a bbq at a park. Need some other ideas too.
I've been here eleven years and still drawing blanks. Please help.
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Centre Island (cheaper than Wonderland). Niagara Falls (free - if you don't mind the drive). Oshawa beach - nice, clean and quiet, you can picnic there. Hang out at the Harbour front.
Young soul's search has been paused.

Sometimes it is - but you can always find room for yourself - quite clean too.

Thanks all for the suggestions, heres how the weekend went.
Friday night - paan from Karachi Bazaar and then a stroll at the boardwalk at Port Credit marina.
Saturday - day at Richards Memorial Park (2 minutes west of Lakeshore Rd and Mississauga Rd). Nice park with play grounds for kids and a conveniently located beach which the kids enjoyed thoroughly. Cons: $20 parking ticket, water was cold and full of seaweed.
Sunday - Valens Conservation Area for a day of boating, fishing and the beach.
Cost: Entrance fee for 2 cars and 9 people (5 adults, 4 kids): $40. Row-boat rental for the day $35
Cons: Row-boats for rental were broken and unmaintained. The oars kept coming off their hook which made it really difficult to operate.
