Heard about this one open up in scarlanka recently, havent had a chance to visit. I was in scarborough last weekend to meet up with some old work buddies but ended up going to Lin Garden anyway (mullah ki daur masjid tak).
Anybody tried this place yet?

guess he means scarborough... though, there's no difference between these "cities" all the same TDOT.

whaaat? its seriously called "desi cheena"????
that's pretty offensive. i've never heard someone use the word "cheena" positively.
on a side note, scarlanka? that's a new one. its usually scarberia (siberia, cos its so far from downtown, geddit?)

Cheena word is used commonly in East Asian countries to call chinese people and it is not used offensively.

I just realized it doesn't say anywhere that they serve halal food, or maybe i missed the signage. Anyway just went to their website, didnt see it anywhere so i called them @ 416-293-8882.
A friendly chinese sounding lady picked up the phone. I asked her if they served halal food and she said yes they do. I asked if its all their food or just select items and she said its all their food. I don't see any signage on their website and unable to find any halal signs in the picture of their front door.
DM do you want to check that out next time you're there?
