I have been trying for about TWO months now and still can't get a seat for travel to Pak around X-mas. I am going there after a very long time. Why the hell every Joe, Dick and Harry ...wait a minute...every Jawad, Dilawar and Haaris have decided to go when I want to go?. Why O Why!

And the idiot PIA walay would run the same schedule as they run in October when nobody wants to go. Why can't they increase flights for the busy peaks?.

Anyway, I have looked into other means of transport. One is to fly over to Istanbul and then drive thru Turkey, Iran and into Balochistan. Would that be safe?. I only have two, max three weeks. If I rent an Avis car in Istanbul and drive non-stop, it would take me three days to reach Pak. But there is an issue... I can't drive rental car across borders.

Is there any guppie who is willing to give up his/her seat to me?.

fungus, dunn fly PIA then, get to europe and hop on a diff airline from there. just not gulf air, that minibus service..

busy season with PIA has issues with seats that are reconfirmed getitng cancelled for some chaheeta of some saab log.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist. And like that... he is gone.

It's a great idea though.

Let me make this clear to you all bozos.

There is no seat on Emirates, Gulf, Turkish, Mongolian, Stir-Fry or Chop Suey. No seats whatsoever. Thats what I am being told by TWO different travel agents. They have not seen a situation like this before.

Fly First on PIA?, What for?. To get served Lussi with my Sindhi Biryani?. By the way First is harder to get. It's the second and onwards that's enjoybale.

Fly to London and get a connecting flight. You can fly with Athens airlines and stopover in Greece .... or the Turkish airlines you mentioned earlier. Sounds good to me!
