Does anyone know of any good but reasonable priced hotels in central london? I'm thinking of taking mrs for a three nights in October. The ones I have seen on expedia are too expensive and could go abroad and back for that price.

i will prefer u to stay in east london (holiday Inn express) near Canning Town or Stratford.
cause its take only 15 to 30 mnts to city (west end) and the prize starts frm 45 to 80 GBP.
i think during your stay most of the time u will visit west end, so its cheap and convenient to go anywhere in london city ......
lemme know if u need more info and i will PM you my number

Another option would be Ibiz which can also be found in Stratford.
Beware though, there's no lock on the bathroom door...I hate that.

My budget is around ฃ50.00-ฃ60.00 a night. I have seen some 2 star hotels but the reviews are absolutely appauling.
I was ideally thinking of staying in westend but the prices are rocket high, I think ur right sunny.
