I am a US citizen wanting to travel somewhere in Eurpoe (I had Paris in mind) for like a week. Will I need a Visa? What would be the cheapest and easiest way/place to go? I am getting 10 days break from school and I wanted to meet up with an online friend somewhere in Europe. She is in Saudi Arab so I can't go meet her there but we both can travel to Europe and meet there. But the problem is we both are budhho and don't know anything about this matter.
Any info help or advices would be helpful!! Thanks

Worried

You don't need visa for most European countries. For Saudia you'll def need a visa.

Summer fares to Europe are pretty steep - but you can find good deals online. Starting from $599 roundtrip (liberty travel.com)

I would also check last minute deals online to get the best fare

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

the price depends on the time of year--summer tends to be expensive and off season is the cheapest (sept-nov).....look at expedia and travelocity and orbitz for some deals...

when u gut to Eurpoe and fancy visiting other countries --go on line and see British Airways--they have great deals such as London to Barcelona/Rome/Brusselles for 29 pounds (Roundtrip).

Hmm.. net love ..

oki here is the advise for you, by having this in mind that this is your first trip to Europe + meeting a girl whom you found online + she is coming from Saudia + both of you are muslim ...errr..etc..etc..etc..

1) If you are US Citizen you don't require Visa for Europe, your passport will be stamped on your arrival for 90 to 120 days - i have no idea about visa requirements for Saudi National's or Pakistani, contact relevant authorities for that .

2) Summer is tend to be busy across the Europe, so expect to slash at least 600-800 $ for round trip

3) I will recommend going to Milan/Rome instead of Paris, Saudi-Air/Etihad/Emirates have direct flights to Milan/Rome, it will be easy for girl and for you too. Because rates to Italy are always cheap compare to Paris.

4) Any idea where you are going to live? Food? Tickets..? .. etc..etc..

5) Just to give you a figure: Air Ticket + Hotel + Food + Hanging Around for 10 days: At least 4000-7000$ ..

I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

Procrastinating

you want something Cheap? Paris isn't cheap. Follow the advise above. Italy would be lot cheaper, or Spain Portugal. It nearest for you as well if coming from US, first stop in Europe.
