I have been quoted by a travel agency for $2080 for Dallas-Houston-Dubai-Karachi and same route back with Emirates. Outbound is end of July and the return is Begining of August.

Is this a good price?

Sounds ok, since you're travelling Hi-Season. You could probably get it a little bit cheaper on Gulf Air, but then Gulf Air is a horrible airline to travel with. So I think the additional 100 or 200 dollars for Emirates are well worth it.

I have similar dates with a slightly different route coming back for $500 less with same airline (emirates). $1590

Dallas - Houston - Dubai - Karachi
KArachi - Dubai - NY JFK - Dallas

Call Any reputed Travel Agency/Agent in NY metro area, you will get better prices there!
