I was there a couple of years ago, it's not too bad, and 1.40 hours are enough to catch connecting flight.

Try not to rely too much on airport staff, rather find sign boards and
stuff. as long as you know your arrival and departure terminal, you'll be fine.

check this out, hope it helps a bit.

This will probably not make you feel any better, but CDG appears in the list of the 5 worst airports in the world (according to the "Foreign Policy" portal). Source

I have never transited through CDG, but I have flown there a couple of times. So if you'd ask me: It's not the worst airport I have ever been to, but it's certainly not one my favorites either. 1.40 hours sounds ok, IF your inward flight is on time.

In my personal "worst airport" ranking, Jeddah's Domestic Airport is the undisputed Number 1. Far better than that, but still on the number 2 spot would be Multan "International" Airport (they have one international flight a week - to Dubai). Paris CDG would narrowly miss a top 5 spot in my own ranking.
