Hey Friends,

Me and my fiancee planning our honeymoon to malaysia next year January after our wedding. Any suggestions to give??? or recommend...those of you who have been there.
Probably we will be spending like 2-3 days in KL and 2days in lankavi.

I have heard KL can be a lot of fun but dont really know anything about it.

KL is very nice. It is good for shopping, dining and sight seeing.....stay in Bukit Bintang (golden triangle) where most of the tourist activity is. For honeymoon, Langkawi is OK.

Another thing.....try to get a short trip to Phuket and go to Phi Phi Islands on boat. Phuket has different scenery all together. Its kind of strange. Just 20 min flight from Penang but terrain changes completely. Stay at secluded beaches of Promthep Cape or Nai Harn. Don't forget to hire a bike and go to private beach called "NUI BEACH". Its amazing..... everyone hires bikes (cars are available too) and roam around island....you will LOVE IT!

I think going to Langkawi only is not a good idea.
