Hello,
I would be gratefull if someone could clarify the visa application procedure for a Pakistani passport holder in the UK wanting to visit USA. I have read the USA embassy website and have found that I need to apply for a B-2 visa. I have a few questions.

- Anyone in my situation applied from London?

- Do I need to have a valid plane ticket?

- Can I choose which day I get the interview (and how do i do that?)

- I have an American contact in New york - will their detail be needed at the interview?

- I have a 1 year student visa in UK remaining and have a part time job. is there any realistic chance of me getting the visa?
