Can you guys please post pics. of brides where you can see their faces up close? A friend of mine is getting married and she wants to see pics. of other brides close up where you can see the make-up and stuff. I know I've seen some pics. posted here before of brides faces but I can't find them now and am not sure what the topic was on those threads.
Thanks.

The biggest mistake I see desi women make, especially on their wedding day, is NOT wearing the correct foundation colour.
Girls always tend to wear a much lighter colour .... the whiter the better it seems!
Therefore, my first suggestion would be to make sure the foundation colour actually MATCHES the skintone. It will show clearly in pictures if it doesn't ... which is why so many Pakistani brides look like ghosts or even witches if they cake on dark make-up on top of it.
It all depends on the skintone. Visit The Bodyshop. They have great foundations for brown people.

I agree with you, same goes with Arabs. I just hate when ANYONE wears foundation that is just too light for them.

simple doesnt have to be nuetral.. pick the right color for ur foundation, choose colors that enchanes ur skintone an ur features, an enchance the best feature on ur face, either the eyes or the lips, if u work on both of them then it looks overdone, so if u have beautiful eyes, make them the center of the attention on ur face,
but brides should look liek brides, in my opionion there dress should be elegant an classy an jewlery to go with it.. aan it never hurts if the dulha dulhan r color coordinated

I love bodyshop and MAC. Try # c-40 - perfect for brown skin It won't make you look like a ghost, instead it's going to make it look really smooth and nice.

Theres levels of classy. You can look the classiest even with minimal makeup.

I dunno...I'm all for the simple bride...lol..I'm not going to be the typical bride at all. I'm not wearing a lenga...just a very nice looking shalwar kameez, umm..I'm trying to convince my family to let me wear my hijab and not a hijab and dupatta on my head...oh and yea..the minimal makeup
So once again..if any of you have some pics of simple bridal makeup...I'd appreciate it.
Oh..a side note..someone mentioned MAC Cosmetics...I don't use their products, nor do I recommend them because the owner is a Zionist.
