Don't get me wrong....I love the eye makeup on all of them and the lips and how the hair is done so perfect....everything looks great but I noticed in a few of the wedding pics that the girls usually have usual desi skin color before the makeup is put on and then afterwards the bride looks like she has on foundation that is 10 times lighter than her real skin color. How come they do that? their faces end up looking so white
Well okay, eyemakeup and hair and lips is fine.. but the only thing im against is the atta look, ure right.. unfortunately thas all desi paindu parlours know how to do, make u look gori rather than make ur skin look good
And its actually quite easy to make ur skin look lighter through foundation... if im ever in the mood, ill show u n post a pic

One thing about using foundation is that it can make ur skin look really white in pictures even if the makeup matches your skin tone perfectly. I've had days when i put on darker foundation and in pictures i look totally white. Foundation especially the heavy coverage ones are opaque and they reflect light making the person look like they painted their face white.
Abt foundations, i used to use soft honey in covergrl, and it looked fine on me even tho it looked kinda dark.. but then I used lancome matte buff 2 and its like 4 shades lighter than that.. but it still looks fine on me, its not chalky yucky white either.. Its so confuzzling
I love the peach and green color combination. When I went to Pakistan in December, I saw a lot of brides with the peach and light green or peach and light blue color combination for their wedding joras. Quite a change from the hot pink and hot orange combo that was/is quite popular.
Is it just me or am i the only one who finds maroon wiht any pastel color and/or red-pink combo hideous? IMO maroon looks good with dark green, gold and/or ivory/white, not light/hot pink or blue or watnot..

whichever blends into your skin better(matches your skin tone). use the lacome one since the covergirl is kinda dark.
^ Ok c i used covergrl's concealor in "soft honey" which looks really light.. but the powder/foundation in the package looks alot darker than concealor.

I'm with you on that one, Sara. I too find maroon and pastel disturbing, especially red and pink together. Shudder...
For me, I love maroon with gold, or with other jewel tones (dark green, dark blue, maybe dark purple, if done right).
these brides look absolutely gorgeous, clothes makeup jewelry, everything fits together
anyone notice that almost none are wearing naths, do you think they are out???
What r naths..? Nose studs or nose rings..? I use to wear nose ring..but since its not allowed in my skool..i wear this small stud..I dont about the latest fashion but nose studs r in in paki!
I have to disagree. Nose studs are traditional and acceptable in Pakistan, but I wouldn't say they're "in." You hardly see any model or actress nowadays with her nose piereced.
