it could be very cute! i'm thinking colourful lehenga's, antique-looking silver jewellery, lots of matka's, maybe sit on a "thakhat" and have lots of those long, sausage shaped pillows (bolster pillows, i think they're called).
what about an ajrak theme, or a rajhastani theme? i'm thinking navy blue and red or black and red for this theme with hits of white. lots of silver in this too. those gorgeous rajhastani lehengas of course with the round cut-out backs in the shirts with the dori tie across the shoulders. it could look really lovely if done decently.

um, a thakhat is like a daybed, basically, but without the sides.
ajrak is a type of fabric with a specific print and is usually either black/red or dark blue/red- ajrak - Google Images
