hrm... but perhaps you'd be more compatible with a pakistani girl in london cos she'd understand the type/pace of life there. you don't want her to suffer culture shock... but i understand your parents POV too. i guess if it doesn't work out in pakistan, that would be your next step?

Simple, just hate all the girls they introduce to you til u get to find one in UK I wonder if this thinking, that girls or guys in the USA/UK will not make good spouses, will ever die out! its really sad...

Just old fashioned and traditional I guess....they`re also pretty stubborn these days - as most old ppl are when they get old ! I dont think they'll let me look for a girl in london..I think they'll make me come back in december to pakistan for the holidays if I dont find someone on this trip.....so either way....Im locked.

There's always a way out buddy! But best of luck, just concentrate on finding someone you mesh with, whether in Pak or UK.....
