lusi not yellow and green. I was thinking of white actually. From decorations- clothes. Well the clothes of just the bride and groom would be white and the rest can wear whtever the colors they feel like. Bridesmaid would be wearing either pink or blue and the decorations would be of white and green flowers and i like what shweetz said

why not use moroccan style glass/metal lamps with candles in it all around and white candles on candle stands for lighting? White shear fabric....on the tables, perhaps on some Mandap type thing (you know what i mean) for the stage and spots for singing/dancing...
I went to Shimmers a restaurant in Dubai and it's on the beach they did alot of this and it looks gorgeous...dark wood furniture...not all matching difft tables..loads of candles..really beautiful.
Also went to a beach wedding in Belize where they used tropical flowers to decorate walk ways/tables etc.

oh thats a great idea- if you did a nice, rich pink, with burnt orange and added yellow and green- cos the beach palette is kind of neutral with the tans, whites and pale blues. definitely get flower haars made for everyone and the wrist cuffs too... you know, hawaiian style ones? keep it light and breezy- nothing too heavy or too chamki.
its gonna be so much fun!

I was thinking of swing kind of thing instead of thakt/mandap. But I like the idea of mandap kind of thing too. I guess we can decorate with tea candles and flowers. I love that chinese lantern thing so may that with flowers.
