Hi guys,

i m new in karachi n i dont know which studio to book for my wedding in december. i really need a gud photoshoot. i did contact Hakim & Sons, Dossani's Studio, Jimmy's, Studio 9 n Aj, but i m confused. plz help me out.

Well you arent gonna get good photo shoots with the first three you have mentioned. Jimmy's used to be good, but netiher do i like their quality of work nor their attitude and professionalism. Therefore, from my recent experience there are only 4 good wedding photographers in khi, Studio 9, Munna Mushtaq, Rehan Dada, and Amean J. As far as I know, none of them have a website except Amean j, which is Amean J. Studio 9 is located on main zamzama blvd. rehan dada is in tauheed commerical area and i dont know where munna mushtaq is but definitely somewhere in khi. i got my mayon, mehndi and wedding covered by Rehan Dada and he did a great job specially with the bridal photoshoot. Rather, from all the pics I have seen, his team uses Photoshop the best.

It also really depends on your budget, if you've got a tight photog budget then u can go with the ones you've mentioned like Hakim Dossani's and another decent one is Azi's and they dont charge as much either. Also, there are other threads in this forum talking about the same topic. so search around. Good luck!

thanks.. but some of my friends in karachi told me k dossani's is pretty gud n some said k hakim's. i have seen studio 9 pictures n i didn't like it.

How much do Amean J, rehan dada Dossani's , mushtaq etc, how much do they charge for one day, as in just nikkah photos and the actual bride/groom photo shoot! Also Munna Mushtaq and Rehan Dada sound like bollywood gangsters :S Im scared to go to them :S lol so Amean J etc, how much do they charge?

^haha hilarious. Rehan Dada charges Rs.80k for the bridal shoot, Rs.85/pic for the event coverage and Rs.10k/day video coverage.

Amean J's rates are listed on the website, you can also email them (they are friendly), they get back to you within 24 hours.

I don't have Munna Mushtaq's rates. I threw out Studio 9s and Jimmy's rates since I decided to go with Rehan Dada. But they lower than Rehan Dada's, probably same as Amean J.

Dossanis, Azis, and Hakim Sons are comparably lower than the photographers mentioned above.

hakim sons have different packages a friend of mine told me she paid like around 80000 to 10000 last yr wiv photo shoot,event coverage n movie for 3 days u can call there they no is 5370311
studio 9 2 day package is around 69500 i think
digi clip 2 days package with video is 43950 rupees
stvalentines 2 days package is around 30000 ruppes n onwards

Studio 9 actually has about 10 different packages and I think around Rs.50000 is their cheapest.

yea studio 9 has different packages i called there but i forgot the rates he was telling me so fast ..anyways st valentines also have difeerent packages RS 30000 is for one day n it can go upto any limit

Please I need to see them so I can decide on one of the above. Do you guys think if you call them up they can send samples of their work via e-mail?

^ I dont know if you saw my photoshoot, it was up in my thread a week ago. That was done by Rehan Dada, i loved it. Other than Amean J and Rehan Dada, Munna Mushtaq is really good in KHI, he's also a fashion photographer but does bridals. I have a friend who got her wedding pics done by Munna but I'm not posting her pics here cuz im sure she wouldnt like that.

In addition, I haven't seen Amean's full package and I wouldn't go with them until seeing a sample portfolio of one whole bridal shoot. I have seen Rehan's and Munna's full bridal shoots and while they are both excellent, I pick Rehan over Munna because Rehan's team has got awesome photoshop skills.

yeah I just checked out studio9's site and their work isn't that great and not worth the price :S

Ameen J is good.....but thats toooooooo expensive...i mean HELLO! 30K..that RIDICULOUS!.
