Blah

I need some ideas as to what gift I can buy for a friend who is getting married. I'm not going to be able to attend the wedding, but I was thinking of giving her a gift at one of the pre-wedding events.

I know I'm buying her a suit and flowers and a perfume gift set.

As for jewellary, my mum thinks i should get her a gold ring, but I know she doesn't like gold, so i was thinking perhaps a silver ring or bracelet - what do you think?

Any ideas welcome, and if you're married what gift did you truly appreciate?

suit/flowers and perfume sounds nice...at bridal showers one can give very pretty nighties A pretty silk or chiffon sari could be another option.......

Maybe even a bedroom accessory--like comforter set, bathroom set etc etc--something that's used all of the time

Also, money is always good option then she can choose what she wants......(or what she hasn't been gifted already)

Just no toasters!

If you know her style/size, a formal shalwar kameez suit or sari would be lovely. A bracelet or necklace or set would be nice too. Buying things for the house is tricky because you dont want to get something that someone else has already gotten or something that clashes with the style of their home decor. So try to get something unique and elegant if you want something for the home. You could also get something engraved, like his and her watches, or a jewelery box. Maybe a digital camera or something that both husband and wife could use

Flowers, that would be lovely if you could have them delivered to her when she is getting dressed for the wedding reception, with a nice note to let her know you are thinking of her on her special day and wishing her all the best

Alot of people prefer cash these days, or gift cards

Dreaming

How about a delicate bracelet in white gold or sterling silver with a cool design/stones that she can wear casually or formally?
