I was wondering if any of u know a good place to buy sarees online. theres about 3 weddings here in miami comming up and usually for the valima everyone wears saris .
are there any good websites where i can buy sarees from?

i think shay had a good experience with utsav too... well, sort of good. her stuff didn't arrive on time (not sure why not) but they were happy to refund her!

ohh really , i wanted to personally go to india and get the saris but i dont kno anyone there and now with all these little problems going around in the pakistan and india area my parents dont want to go anywhere tehy dont really know so thts y

Miamisweetheartx, why don't you contact a few designers and ask them to make you saris and ship them over to you? You can send them your choices and see their work, too. I found a few designers here on GS who do nice kaam and are helpful enough.
Here is the Bargello list of sarees for ideas:

BTW, I contacted Bargello people and they promptly replied, inviting me to their warehouse in Zamzama, Karachi.
(PS. Have any of you recycled old Banarsi sarees/mom dresses into something new? I have loads of my grandmother's old Banarsi sarees and want to make something out of them.)

Be careful with Bargello, alot of guppies have had really bad experiences with them.......
