My sil just asked me what color or colors do I want for my Walema outfit. She will call me again in 2,3 days to ask once more. I m confused big time. I had thought about apple green as base color & then bronze & rust kaam. But my mom & phoppo already declared that combination "Paindoo"
White is another color that I know will look nice, again with bronze & rust but mom told me not to go with white because as this is my bridal outfit I should choose something colorful & I can always get a white lehnga made later on for someone else's wedding. She also doesn't want me to go with light shades.
Sil also mentioned a peach pink with ferozi that she saw but she is gonna start shopping around now & I don't know. I m confused as I don't know what to go for & what not to go for.
All you lovely ladies out there. I need some suggestions in terms of color combination. Its going to be for a lehnga. Thanks in advance.

Bride my Mehndi Jora (I still haven't seen it by the way) is mehndi green with orange & hints of silver in it. Shadi jora is most probably going to be blood red or pomegranate anaari) red with rust & gold kaam.

I m digging teal now with bronze kaam. Bride I am trying to stay away from shades of pinks as shadi day is red. And my theme for shadi is pink & red. If you know what I mean. So teal green or blue I guess.

Desis can actually carry off dark colors very well even if they are light skinned, their complexion is different than regular goras.
How about this if you don't want pinks, reds or light colors.

Oh boy. Some of these dresses are gorgeous. I am thinking teal & peach maybe. With rust kaam.
Thanks though for posting the pictures Mahi & Eastern.
Sosankaar my sister in law is getting it made in Karachi.
Aali its the fact that I have been looking at the Bridal pics. thread so much that I am totally lost.
Tigerlily the combination you mentioned are actually my mayoun colors
Oh wow just found out that sil saw this dress, loved it so much that took two different people with her at two different timings on the same day & ended up ordering it. Hubby told me its pink, blue with dark ruby color. Have to talk to her myself to find out what the actual shades are. All I know so far is that its unique than the regular bridals & its from Shakeel on Tariq Road. Any one here knows about this place called Shakeel on tariq Road Karachi? Any reviews about that place. I am scared & excited at the same time.
Oh another thing dress will be ready by the end of April. Even after ordering we can still change the colors right? It hasn't been 24 hours yet.

This would look gorgeous on deep plum with tea pink accents

WTG! Bint-e-Naeem, you'll surely get a fab dress from Shakeel's. My mom gave me a few formals from there for my wedding and I am still using them now. Their cuts, stitching and cloth are lovely. Don't be scared at all! Shakeel's know their job and they do that very well. Congratulations!!!
