I dunno but its a top place to have the weeding .. i ve been to a few big big weddings ....
one of whom u may know a big brand ''karshi'' the dawaa khana who manufacture medicines all across pakistan .. the guys sons wedding was held there at PC .. where up big heads such as liaqat baloch and qazi aziz ahmad also attended . so am guessing its really a top place to have a wedding there .since i ve sen it for myself ..
but as for costs i d say they must be pretty hefy i mean alot .. ofcorse thas upto u hw much u are willing to go for ... and advance bookings .. id say u d need to beek atleast a few months beofre at such a place like PC cos its alwayss busyy ..
Good luck and Mubaarak in Advance for ur shaadi

nice venue.....prestigious
good parking
.....average food
if you want a weekend slot i'd say a months in advance. For weekdays even a week can be enough.
The problem is usually trying to get the best hall. each hall costs the same.......however crstyal is the most prestigious........

Nice venue, no doubt.. but the food is not good. Whenever I attend a wedding at PC Lahore, I usually try not to eat any of their salads or any other ΄salan΄. Just plain rice.

and booking one month before is not a wise thing to do, especially in the wedding season you must book months before...

I HATE to attend weddings at PC(particularly the crystal ballrooms in the basement) because I feel awkward walking long way first through parking(which you usually dont find easily if there are 2 weddings going on at a time) and then through passageways via big lobbies where all people are either the ones who are guests in the hotel or those who are there for dinner/lunch at dum pukht or marcopolo..imagine a bride or a groom with baraat and photographers walking long way through a public area before getting into the hall...food is not good either..
Royal Palm is way more hi-classed than PC now and so are weddings done at lake city in grounds with huge beautiful marques and arrangements/decorations done.

I don't like PC, food is horrible and walking through the public area all dressed up to get to your hall is the worst part (someone mentioned this above as well)
Anyhow they are fully booked till december 2009.

My favorite . It may be expensive but i think its worth the money. I believe it depends on you what you prefer whether you like a neatly done, comfortable place or one of those gawdy and over the top halls. It entirely is your decision at the end of the day. I think P.C has high standards and deserve the money they ask for. We recently had the launch of our brand there @ Xavier Hall and it was wonderful. We just had drinks and snacks served and it was great .

my rukhsati was at the PC in lahore. they were fantastic. the food was excellent (recent change in management) and the service was terrific. they helped with my decor and went over and beyond what i had expected, with the exception of the chairs (i really hated the chairs, but oh well, no biggie!)

My NIkkah was in PC last year in August. I think Its pretty fine. Food was good too but I didnt get to eat a lot since i was sitting on stage with my hubby and was hell nervous. I think you have some options to choose from. I dunt exactly remember about the rest but yeh I knwo you have option of three salads, And they have a seperate table of salads. I heard no one complaining about the food. Its expensive ofcourse....
I dunt really have pictures of just the hall. I can post some of mine to give you and idea of what it actually looks like. Also You get to choose your style of stage and they decorate it for you.
You also get a seperate room for a bride... and yeh actually you get a room for the whole night. No matter if you want to use it or not, It comes with thee hall.
Here you go:
This was my stage:
This is the entrance:
This one is to show you the walls and surroundings... The big doors on the walls kinda gives you a royal look.
I dunt have anymore pictures of surroundings.
I hope that helps.

My walima was done in one of the halls in PC.....food was brilliant, deco was not brilliant and the guests were roaming around and checking out the Hotel most of the time. It was annoying.
I suggest it's better to book a wedding hall like Diwan-e-khas or something.
